We would be worried about the permanency of the tattoo and the implications of it's label-like quality. It brings with it the interpretation that we're simple folk who struggle to remember our own names. Not the image we're hoping for. Shaving half of our head doesn't appeal - bob on one side, bald on the other - fine if we're embracing the punk look. On balance, we're going to plump for shaving an eyebrow. The immediate impact is less than the new hair 'style' and it is less of a life-time commitment than the tattoo.
